Join Anne Robichaud on a virtual tour of Montefalco, the Umbrian hill town nicknamed “the Balcony of Umbria.” In this presentation, she will reveal the splendid views of valleys and vineyard-draped hills that entice Montefalco visitors from around the world.
Together, we’ll visit the town's late September wine festival and wander backstreets where shops display the famous loom-woven linen textiles, with many designs celebrating the famed Sagrantino grape grown around the town. We’ll meet local artisans and learn about the splendid Renaissance fresco cycle in a medieval church.
We’ll share local culinary specialties in a “five-star” restaurant housed in an 18th-century carriage house adjoining a noble palazzo.
After viewing this video, you’ll understand why recent tour guests, Ann and Fred, wrote to Anne saying, “Annie, thanks so much, for we had no idea there was so much to discover in Montefalco!”
