A teenager has been jailed after disposing of a loaded sawn off during a chase in Manchester city centre.

Nathaniel Morris, 19, was also found with £300 worth of class A gear hidden in a Kinder Egg capsule following an operation conducted by GMP's Xcalibre Task Force.

Officers were patrolling Oxford Road on the evening of March 25 last year when they were made aware by a member of the public of a suspected r**bery by a group of youths on bikes.

Police searched the area and later spotted a man, now known to be Morris, on his white bike on Freetown Close in Moss Side.
