After the dramatic heart-striking death of Raleigh's older brother, Raleigh goes for the kill even though the Jaeger's systems are weak and Raleigh loads the plasma cannon. But due to it's slow and painful charge, Raleigh has to end up suffering the pain that the Jaeger sustained as the angry monster tares out parts of Gypsy's shoulder after amputating the left arm.
The system continues to fail and the plasma cannon took longer process to release one shot. Or since there's only one pilot operating the Jaeger solo, that's what causes it to charge painfully slow. Raleigh finally blows chunks out of the Kaiju's face, killing it.
Later back at the icy beach shore of Anchorage, two citizens walk along the shore to find metal objects for their personal usage. As they found a metal toy robot. Helping to know the scale of from tiny to giant. The elderly grandpa receives an extremely strong metal detection from his detector. He raises his detector and sees a strong reading on the small digital meter, it's extremely high.
As we hear the gigantic massed Jaeger come into the shore. The two witnesses Gypsy Danger the giant mechanical being collapse on her knees. They managed to move away from it's legs and this Jaeger is so huge and with it's overpowered weight, the Jaeger collapses on her front. The grandpa and the grandson watches as a traumatized pilot walks out of the head of the Jaeger.
Raleigh, having to suffer the neural overflow and handling the neural connection alone, walks alone and mourning to his brother's death, and he soon collapses on his back and breathing hard as he suffered minor neurological damage with his damaged suit. Having to sustain most of it's damage on his left arm just like Gypsy sustained her damage on her left shoulder or even arm.
The Jaeger and this lone pilot lost their function in this world. As Raleigh is later rescued to the medical bay or hospital for recovery. Being one of the few pilots to pilot a Jaeger alone, including Stacker.

It was a tragic moment for me, to be honest. It was :( I don't get why some people are so heartless. I would like to see them fight the Kaiju in that head. Then come back and tell me your regrets on saying what you said previously before. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this scene. It was really emotional.
