Ingredients: (Serves 20 - 25 nos)
Smashed boiled potato - 2 nos (Medium size)
Chopped boiled potato - 1 no (Medium size)
Corn flour - 1/2 cup
Finely chopped garlic - 8 - 10 pods
Chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp
Salt - As required
Refined oil - For frying
Method:
1. In a bowl add all ingredients except oil and mix well until well combined.
2. Slightly grease your hands with oil and shape the mixture into cylindrical balls.
3. Freeze the potato pops for 15 - 20 mins.
4. In a kadai pour oil for frying. Heat the oil to medium heat.
5. Slowly drop the potato pops in oil and deep fry both sides until golden brown.
6. Relish the Yummy Chilli Garlic Potato Pops.
Suggestions:
1. You can increase corn flour if less crispy.
2. You can make the potato pops and store in freezer for 2 -3 months.
3. You can skip garlic if you do not like the taste of garlic.
4. You can add garlic powder instead of chopped garlic if you do not want to bite the chunks of garlic.
