More than 108,000 college football fans enter Beaver Stadium during every home Penn State football game, and most of them probably don't consider all the work it takes behind the scenes to plan for and host a game there. Most of the behind-the-scenes activities -- for details such as security, emergency medical response, maintenance and not least of all concessions -- have little to nothing to do with the game on the field.
Inside Beaver Stadium -- which some might consider the third-largest "city" in Pennsylvania during home games -- keeping all those hungry fans well fed is no small task. Penn State's athletics concessions manager coordinates volunteer groups to staff the concession stands, and they receive a percentage of the stand's sales for their efforts. Learn how three of these different groups use this opportunity to better themselves as well as those around them. Produced by: C Roy Parker
