# Kangra Food Exploration
The " Hardyal Te Kamal the dhaba" is a small dhaba situated on National Highway 20 (Pathankot to Mandi) in a small village named 53mile on the way to Palampur. It is a 44 years old dhaba. The Dhaba is known for it Kangri Dham and delicacy of Khatta meat and Mora meat. You can always find a great rush in the dhaba for the food. Every once in a week (Wednesday) they prepare khatta meat and this day becomes the most busiest day of the dhaba. Many passerby from different places comes to cherish the taste this pahadi delicacy. Pahadi Kangri Khatta meat is delicacy of Kangra district. There are two famous mutton recipes (Mora meat & Khatta meat ).
1. Mora meat- is regular household mutton curry.
2. Khatta meat- is prepared using sour ingredients like Aamchur powder it authentic green color gravy comes by using walnut powder in which walnut is first burnt then its grinds to make a fine powder.
Walnut powder along with Spinach is used to give typical green colour to famous kangri khatta meat.
