This video shows you how we made a Scandinavian "Puukko" knife with a hidden tang construction.
The blade was cut from a circular sawblade, it was hardened in a diy forge and quenched in oil.
Then tempered in the oven, to make it less brittle.
We made a sheath from layers of Cherrywood, glued together. It has a nice beltloop and a leather strap to secure the knife inside the sheath.
