Talking a bit with my friend toyota, maybe you know him, he made me realize that when it comes to sticky bombs, you don't need to swap every time to combat shotgun. You throw a sticky and press punch (after a pb, as usual), repeat. I'm 90% sure this is faster than normal sticky spam.
The last melee sticky swap, howewer, is done while also tapping on the combat shotgun key: you need to swap fast to ballista for a correctly timed feet falter.
