This is a note for note guitar transcription of Billy Joel's Vienna
I'm playing all the instruments and singing.
I started by separating the original track into drums/bass/guitar/vocal. I then painstakingly transcribed all the parts note for note, and replayed them. I then went into the recording booth and sang the song.
(Note) I believe there is one chord I play in a different position than what's on screen. I play a C7 on the eighth fret of the low E rather than on the third fret of the A. Feel free to play it either way. They are both correct. It's just a different position for the same chord.
There is very little guitar in the original version. the chords in the beginning would not sound in a band until the 2nd verse. The solo was originally played by an accordion, and I transcribed it for guitar. Hope you like it.

The Equipment used in this recording is as follows:

Slate ML1 Microphone
The software is Cubase Pro.
The audio interface is an Axe IO
The Bass sound was created with a Sire V7, straight into the Axe.
The Guitars are an Alvarez 12 string, and an Epiphone Prophecy straight into the Axe. Amplitube 5 was used for amp emulation.
The Piano was played on a Roland Fantom.
All vocals were recorded with the Slate ML1
Ozone 9 was used for mastering.
The video, and the recording, were produced by Abraham Myers.
