Our first camping trip to the snow! We hit sub zero temperatures and go skiing and snowboarding in the Mount Kosciusko National Park, but it's not the first place that comes to mind when you think snow fields in Australia. After reopening for the first season in 2 years, since the aftermath of bushfires, Selwyn Snow Resort is a real hidden gem for families who want to experience the snow and skiing without the massive lines and costs associated with hitting the more commonly known ski fields in Australia. We find some picturesque free camps in the Mount Kosciusko National Park and visit stunning landmarks, such as Blowering Dam, Yarrangobilly Caves and the natural thermal pool - yes, we take a dip in freezing temperatures!
