In this video, we start our legendary campaign playthrough playing as Hector, Price of Troy in A Total War Saga: Troy. This game just released and I really enjoy playing as Hector's faction.

Priam's Heir: There's this benevolence thing where you basically have to raise your score, ensuring you're ahead of your brother. Fulfill tasks for your father Priam, King of Troy, to gain his benevolence. Gain maximum benevolence before your brother to confederate him and the city of Troy. Do not let Troy fall to her enemies!

The Assuwan League: You basically should try to get as many allies as possible. The bigger the size of your alliance, the more bonuses you get. The more land your allies control, the more positive effects your armies will receive. Armies will move quicker ton the campaign map, have more morale, less upkeep and recruit cheaper units. Helping your alies might cause them to thank you with a gift.

I suggest to begin this campaign by entering the diplomacy screen. Start forming those alliances. Surprisingly, there are several factions who would be happy to ally with you within the first few turns of starting. I'm not sure why Paris keeps getting points each turn. I really enjoy the playstyle of this faction, building up huge alliances. Target coordination also works so much better in this game than in other TW games, in my opinion.
