Making a wooden box with a sliding lid with book-matched grain. This woodworking gift idea is a fun and easy woodworking project! This wood box is sized specifically to hold a wine bottle opener, although the design is more generic and could be used to hold any number of gift ideas.
The lid and the bottom pieces of this box have a book-match grain that I created with a resaw of a 3/4" thick piece of walnut on the bandsaw.
