[ Ссылка ] In Turkey, security sources say Kurdish guerrillas from the PKK separatist group have attacked military posts in the Cukurca district in the south east of the country.
Latest figures indicate 26 soldiers have been killed and 22 injured.
It is claimed Turkish commandos crossed the border with Iraq in pursuit of the guerrillas.
The killings come after a roadside bomb planted by suspected Kurdish rebels exploded on Tuesday killing five policemen and four civilians including a two-year-old-girl.
