Look closely, and you’ll notice laser-engraved maple leaves are scattered throughout the field. They’re easy to miss, because the dark background alters the way the light reflects off the coin’s surface, grabbing your attention and focusing it on the shiny, incused maple leaf that proudly symbolizes Canada.
