So we will recommend the APDM parties to boycott this election but of course this decision will be taken within the next 48 hours."

Because we believe that if you leave the field open, than there is no need for rigging. There is no need for a contest. But if you give the best of your best ability, than the other side is forced to expose that it does not command the legitimacy of support and that it is rigging the elections. So we have entered our nomination under protest."

STORYLINE
The opposition party of former cricket star Imran Khan on Thursday became the first to decide to boycott critical elections in Pakistan while former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto said her party candidates would file nomination papers "under protest".
Despite his release from detention, Khan slammed the latest political developments in Pakistan.
"This election should be boycotted because it is a complete fraud," Khan told journalists in Islamabad.
The former cricket star ended a hunger strike begun in jail.
He said he would boycott upcoming parliamentary elections in hopes of forcing President General Pervez Musharraf to give up all power and blasted Thursday's Supreme Court decision dismissing the challenge to Musharraf's rule as a cynical powerplay.
The Court, stacked with judges loyal to Musharraf, cleared the way for him to rule as a civilian president, deciding against a final challenge blocking ratification of his election last month.
Stepping down as army chief could help Musharraf blunt opposition and foreign criticism of his imposition of a state of emergency on November 3.
The court decision, which was widely expected after Musharraf purged it of independent-minded judges, means the Election Commission can put a stamp of approval on the October vote that won Musharraf another five-year term.
The general has said that once he got a favourable court decision, he would quickly hang up his uniform and take the oath as a civilian.
Bhutto was speaking to journalists in Karachi after she met Khair Bakhsh Marri, the head of the Marri tribe.
