To strengthen its alliance for the assembly polls in Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin-led DMK has signed a seat-sharing pact with the CPM and agreed to allot it six seats at DMK’s headquarters.
The CPM had been demanding twelve seats and had told the DMK leadership that it will not settle for anything less than six seats as the other 6 seats have been given to CPI.
Also after a lot of negotiations, now even DMK and Congress have settled upon 25 seats. It is expected that now the DMK and its allies shall discuss the constituencies on which they are going to contest.
