I was out doing some urban exploring at this train yard today and got inspired to do a quick review of the Shinko SR 244 trail tires. I purchased these for the Suzuki DR 650. I've used these tires for a really long time on most of my smaller engine enduros and trail bikes. I like these tires on 250 cc and smaller bikes, personally, I wasn't crazy about these on the DR.

These have a speed rating of 95 mph and my DR tops out around 90 mph. Off-road the front tire is washing out a bit on loose gravel. I'll generally get between 4K - 6K miles on a pair of these depending on how I'm driving. Hopefully I can get through most of the season with these, then swap them out towards the end of the year with something better. Who know, maybe they'll grow on me throughout the season.
