GREAT GLOBAL CLEANUP

After the global celebration of earth day i.e. on 22nd April our team is in continuous move with new activities needed for the betterment of the community, city, state, nation and thereby the entire world to leave an impressive impact on the mindset of each and every responsible person of this earth about reviving greenery and existence of every species.
Our team has started the global cleanup mission and are actively carrying the work in different cities of our state. Our team did the campaign at Raipur from 2nd to 5th May where we cleaned the 3 Kilometers roadside area starting from Mandir Hasaud Square to Monnet, a sponge iron plant.
Due to the presence of several shops in that particular location, a lot of plastic waste use to aggregate around the either sides of the road giving an odd look to the place. It also proved to be harmful for the animals like cows who does not have the sense of what to eat and what not to. And thereby swallow it and ultimately face death.
Finding that place as most affected area, our team decided to start the campaign at Raipur from there and with incessant effort we successfully cleaned the place. Nearly 10 quintal of plastic waste was collected from there. We then approached to municipality and gave them the collected plastic waste for sustainable proceedings. The Municipal Corporation Raipur and the shopkeepers including the common civilians admired and appreciated us for taking such an essential and commendable step to combat with plastic pollution. They also took pledge with us to stop the littering behavior and use of single use of plastic.
The expected target was achieved by the keen collaboration of 25 volunteers of team Nature Bodies and 200 people of the Raipur city including the shopkeepers as well.
We would like to thank Mrs. Karuna Singh, Earth Day Network India for guiding us in every step we take to make it the best step laid ahead.
So overall, it was a great beginning of the Cleanup and we are going to continue it with all our might and with the dream we have to totally wipe out the plastic mess laying on land as our leftovers with the transforming vision of
