👁 About this video : In today's video I finally get a new alignment done on my Toyota Tacoma! I have the SPC upper control arms and decided to buy those when I bought my lift kit, but didn't have much knowledge on how they would work and so today they are paying off!! Since I upgraded my tires to 305/70/17 which are roughly 34x12.5, I haven't had much rubbing, but I did have to trim slightly to get them to fit and even offroad, they were fine depending on the angle. So after a lot of research and piecing together what had to be done, I have the perfect alignment for these tires and the potential to go larger! So in this process, we basically have the lower control arm bolts maxed out. The front bolt is facing the opposite tire, and the rear bolt head is facing the tire (outwards). From there with the help of the upper control arm we had two adjustments moving the plate to (F) to help with caster and sliding the steering knuckle towards the truck to help with camber. Once those adjustments were made and everything was recalibrated, the last adjustment was the tow using the tie rod ends to bring the tires back in. Honestly I wasn't expecting that much clearance behind the tire and with the extra trimming I did in this video, I had no chance of rubbing even offroad!! Combined with my cab mount chop which I do recommend I'm super excited with how this turned out and it was definitely worth it! I did mention to that another option I've seen in doing the cab relocation kit which involves cutting way more frame away then I what I wanted to do. So if you want an "easier" solution, aftermarket upper control arms and a CMC will do the trick!
