Marine-Tex putty was used to repair a V-shaped gap in the top of the centerboard for my 14-foot Omega sailboat. Because the gap went through the centerboard, I applied Marine-Tex to one side, then attached a backing board to that side, and flipped the centerboard over to fill in the other side of the gap.
