On 7 December, in a ceremony at the Royal Palace Amsterdam, HRH Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands with the Chair of the Impact Awards Jury Pablo León Barra presented 2022 Prince Claus Impact Awards for outstanding achievements to six creative changemakers.

Biannual Prince Claus Impact Awards focus on the artistic quality, social engagement and impact of the artists and their work. Geographic diversity and range of disciplines are also considerations in the selection process. For 2022 Awards, 94 nominations were initially received. Nominations are thoroughly researched and a final selection is decided by an independent jury.
