Presenting a VLOG of an entire journey in the 22671 Chennai Egmore Madurai Tejas Express. Featuring an entire coverage of the train, its brand new coaches, all its features and of course its food. Inaugurated on 1-March, 2019, this is India's second Tejas Express after the 22119 Mumbai Karmali Tejas Express.
This video is special to me as this is my first ever attempt at a proper train VLOG. All feedback are welcome!
Covering a distance of 495 km from Chennai to Madurai, it has a staggering 320 km non-stop run till Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), which happens to be the first of the two sole halts. The next and last halt is Kodaikanal Road, the railway head for the famous hill station in Tamil Nadu. Overall, it covers the Chennai Madurai distance of 495 kms in 6.5 hours at an average speed of 76.15 kmph. This makes it the fastest train between Chennai and Madurai by a country mile.
