Disgraced RnB Singer, R. Kelly, officially known as Robert Sylvester Kelly has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for crimes relating to sexual abuse.
The release of Surviving R. Kelly, a documentary that detailed his sexual accusations opened the door for his trial and conviction. Notable among his victims are the late singer, Aaliyah and Tiffany Hawkins.
It is unfortunate that the story of such a great artiste, widely considered as the King of RnB has been eclipsed by his sexual perversion. His life can serve as a lesson to us all - as there is no escape from our misdeeds.
