Gudivada TDP MLA Candidate Devineni Avinash Comments On Opposition Leader Kodali Nani
As part of nominations for the Assembly elections, two candidates filed their nominations on Thursday, said the Gudivada RDO and returning officer GV Satya Vani. She said TDP candidate Devineni Avinash filed two sets of nomination papers at around 1:56 pm contesting from Gudivada constituency. Vemuri Basavakutumba Rao also from the TDP filed nomination papers from Gudivada constituency, said the returning officer. Gundapaneni Rajakumari of Pyramid Party of India, who filed nomination papers on March 18, filed one more set of nomination papers on Thursday. Avinash was followed by Raavi Venkateswara Rao, Yalavarthi Srinivas Rao and a huge crowd at the RDOoffice to file the nomination.
Addressing an election campaign meeting, YSRCP Gudivada Assembly constituency candidate Kodali Nani said that the 100 TDP candidates from 164 announced by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu will face defeat. He slammed Chandrababu for fielding Devineni Avinash, whose father responsible for Vangaveeti Ranga demise. Nani alleged 300 rowdies brought by Avinash are staying in Gudivada and terrorising YSRCP activists and his followers. He vowed to fight with rowdies on their behalf. Nani stated that 40,000 followers of Vangaveeti Ranga will defeat Avinash in Gudivada.
