Recipe for pork ribs dusted with a dry rub, barbecued on a kamado-style smoker, and brushed with a home made bourbon, maple syrup, and molasses glaze. Used a Chargriller brand Kamado Kooker (or Akorn).
Dry Rub Ingredients:
2 Tbsp Black Pepper
2 Tbsp Turbinado Sugar
2 Tbsp Sweet Paprika
1 Tbsp Kosher Salt
1/2 Tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Dry Mustard
Glaze Ingredients:
1 onion, yellow, diced
2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
2 Tbsp Oil, Olive or other
1/2+ cup Bourbon
1/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup Cider Vinegar
1/4 cup Maple Syrup
3 Tbsp Molasses
1 Tbsp Worcestershire
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Salt
