An hour at Wigan North Western station on January 20th 2022. The reason for this short visit was to catch LSL's "Staycation Express" HST set, which was operating a test run between Crewe & Carlisle. VP185 powered 43058 + 059 were on the set.
There's also a GBRF 66 with a cement train to look out for as well as some of the regulars on the northern end of the WCML. Northern class 195's, 331's, 150's, 158 & a few of the new class 769 hybrid units (previously 319's) running on diesel power to/from Wigan Wallgate station.
