These strategies are useful for grinding points in the batting minigame, allowing you to trade points for rewards like Yakuza Training Gear, Personality Boosters (Confidence, Style, and Intellect), or Job Rank Up Growth Items. This video covers two methods: Expert Challenge Course 2 and Expert Homerun Course, highlighting their pros and cons. It uses the Expert Bat with a 1.5x multiplier and a smaller hitbox to accurately demonstrate timing and hitbox locations.
Expert Challenge Course 2
** Pros: Easier pitch types. Scoring singles, doubles, or triples can lead to runs (RBI) without requiring strict home runs.
** Cons: Awards 50 fewer points than Expert Challenge Course 3 (S Rank) and 250 fewer than Expert Homerun Course (S Rank).
[Note: Calculations are based on Metal Bat with x1.0 multiplier]
Expert Homerun Course
** Pros: Grants 1000 points for an S Rank, reducing grinding time significantly.
** Cons: Harder pitch types, including two challenging Hard Sliders (a very fast, nasty slider, shifting two squares to the right of the initial marker location). Also, no RBI opportunities compared to challenge courses.
[Note: Calculations are based on Metal Bat with x1.0 multiplier]
