Front carries are a great exercise for many goals. They are obviously vital for replicating many events in Strongman. They also crush the posterior chain so they can be useful for sports training, crossfit, powerlifting accessories, and more. In this case I was training for a crucifix/Barry Carry for the USS Strongman Nationals. I did not have the impmement that was being used at the comp and could not have one fabricated in time. This made for a great substitution because they were even more difficult than the actual event!
