Toni Stone by Lydia R. Diamond is the unforgettable real-life story of a remarkable, trail-blazing American American Bay Area athlete. Toni Stone was the first woman to play professional baseball with men at the tail end of the Negro Leagues.

The play ran at A.C.T.’s Geary Theater for only six preview performances and its opening night on March 11 before we made the heartbreaking but necessary decision to shutdown all our programming. Built as a co-production with D.C.’s Arena Stage, we hope to remount this show with acting company intact in D.C. some time in 2021.
