Aid trucks were seen passing through the Kerem Shalom crossing on Monday after the Israeli military announced a “tactical pause of military activity” during daylight hours to facilitate aid flows into Gaza.

However, on the same day, at least eight Palestinians were killed by Israeli strikes while waiting for commercial trucks along the main eastern road of the Gaza Strip.

Philippe Lazzarini, head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (Unrwa), said that Israeli attacks are ongoing and no changes have been reflected on the ground in Gaza.
