Trying to give a new angle to the Swiss startup ecosystem, we decided to visit the offices of Accenture and talk to the senior managing director, Thomas Meyer. In today’s episode, we discuss hot topics of consulting, collaboration between big corporates and startups, and why students should consider working for consulting companies.
Thomas Meyer joined Accenture in 1987 and started running the company in 2003. He has been with the company through all its changes. In addition to having a lot of experience in entrepreneurship and leadership, Thomas is also a president of the board of Stoosbahn and a board member of Switzerland Global Enterprise.
Accenture is a professional services company with three primary areas: consulting, tech solutions, and business operations. Their target clients are large multinational companies helping them bring innovation to the world and improve how the world works and lives. They aim to achieve all this through the support system they create with large multinational companies.
