Wow. This song is so powerful. Considered to be one of the best Christian song of faith. Especially in this time of uncertainty brought about by the pandemic. People are anxious, some are overcome with fear, members of families and friends infected and some have gone ahead. We can't see our loved ones as often and can't even hug or kiss because of fear of spreading the virus. The economy is down, another recession is imminent. How do we respond? Where do we get our strength and hope?
Our only hope and source of strength, peace, and security is in Jesus Christ the Living and Loving God, the Sovereign Lord who is in control, the Creator, the Alpha and Omega. The One who holds our lives together. The God who is infinitely Good.
There is no other way to respond to this pandemic but to put our trust and hope in the One who loves us with an everlasting love - the One who promised to never leave us nor forsake us. He is good.
I invite you to sing this song as your prayer to the Lord, your personal expression of faith and trust in Jesus Christ - our King who is powerful, strong and mighty, yet faithful, loving, kind, and gracious to all His children.
Be strong, take courage. The Lord your God is with you. He is sovereign. HE IS GOOD.
