The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) monuments have reopened for tourists after nearly a hundred days of lockdown. The Governments ensured that strict social distancing norms will be observed. However, certain monuments from Agra including Taj Mahal are exempted from the list. Taj Mahal was excluded after the city witnessed a surge in the Coronavirus pandemic cases.
The tickets of these places will be booked online as the counters will remain shut. Thermal checkups and regular sanitation will be carried out as well.
