MOSAÏCULTURES INTERNATIONALES MONTRÉAL 2013 was held in Montreal’s Botanical Gardens, where over 40 extraordinary living plant sculptures were on display. Creators were asked
"to fuse elements of their own culture with a message of peace & awareness to create an environmentally sound world," in line with the theme, in the "Land of Hope."
The exhibits shown in this video were just a few of the extraordinary sculptures that captured my attention. See below for more details of these exquisite horticultural creations:
A True Story - Shanghai, China
Tragic story of a young woman who drowned while saving a crane.
The Man Who Planted Trees - Montreal, Canada
Water, Source of Life - L‘ Assomption, Canada

This exhibit was inspired by the true story of Hachiko, an Akita Inu. Every day Hachiko would wait at the Shibuya train station for his master who worked as a professor at the Imperial University of Tokyo. One day, while at work, the professor unexpectedly died of a cerebral hemorrhage. In a display of unwavering loyalty, Hachiko continued to wait for his master at that same train station for the next 10 years; the remainder of his life.
