When prepping this blank there was what I thought was a small crack I'd be able to turn it away - sadly the deeper I went the more obvious the crack became. I was loving the grain and so didn't want to abandon the turn and so carried on and hoped it wouldn't completely split on be while turning the inside - luckily it held on and I used some stitching to hold it together and add a bit of decorative flare to the finished product! 😀 What are your thoughts?
