Doing school at home can be overwhelming. Plus, being home all day means we're also eating more meals at home too. Having a schedule makes a big difference for learning and meal time, but how do you make an at home school day schedule that actually works? In this video, preschool teacher and Dr. Yum Project team member Wendy Cannon is sharing some key tips for creating an effective schedule for the kids in your home. Learn the components of a daily schedule, how to provide flexible structure that can adjust to individual situations, and how to incorporate meals and snack so that children and grow-ups aren't grazing all day long. Whether you have a preschooler or older child, one kid of several children, these tips will help you create a schedule that works for your family's needs and makes schooling at home less chaotic.
