Personnel from across the Royal Air Force and led by 135 Expeditionary Air Wing from RAF Leeming are supporting the operation of Typhoon FGR4 multi-role aircraft in Lithuania, the UK's contribution to the NATO Baltic Air Policing mission. The RAF aircraft are standing on alert, ready to scramble to intercept unknown aircraft in a mission which mirrors that undertaken every day in the UK and Falkland Islands. .
