Patient Kumkum Pandey had been suffering with Interstitial lung disease (ILD) which is a group of diseases causing scarring (fibrosis) of the lungs making it difficult to breathe and get oxygen to the bloodstream. She had been on Oxygen support at home since a long time. At once her condition really worsened & her family rushed to Kailash Hospital Sector 27 Noida Emergency Dept. Her oxygen level had dropped critically very low and her family was really tensed about saving her life. Patient was admitted in ICU immediately & consulted by Chest Physician & Bronchoscopist Dr. Lalit Mishra and Sr. Chest Physician Dr. Sudhir Kumar Gupta. Once when patient was on a condition to be shifted on ventilator, Doctors wisely decided for some alternative and saved her life. Subsequently, patient regained her oxygen stability and was discharged.
