The dam project is often created by artificial excavation. It is a ground or semi-ground channel. The water diversion method is self-flowing water. The embankment is loose and permeable. Most of the anti-seepage dam engineering uses such non-degradable materials as plastic film, woven bag, geotextile, non-woven fabric, polystyrene board, which are installed by hand. It will cause damage to the downstream or in the field when the water flow is rushed. So plastic dam linings made by HDPE are the ideal materials as dam bottom and side lining system. When the dam expansion and reconstruction project is carried out, the common synthetic materials used in the existing projects are removed and not recycled to prevent the water from polluted.
