One of the best parts of our 2-week cycling journey came by accident as the weather in the Pyrenees was going to be bad so we stayed close to Milan. Thanks to Simon Warren and his book Best Climbs of Giro d'Italia we found this gem. Stunning! So much fun climbing through villages and then the windy mythical roads, a scene right out of Game of Thrones

Outdoor activities: The area around Colle del Nivolet is ideal for lovers of outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking and bird watching. It is also a paradise for landscape photography enthusiasts.
