I've heard these ruins called several different names, but for this, I will just call it Tower Ruin.
This incredible ancient tower is still in excellent condition despite it being created sometime between 700-1000+ years ago by the Ancestral Pueblo. The small group of ruins are located inside a natural quiet alcove that's a great spot to catch water that would periodically come down the wash.
During my visit, I thought I kept hearing distant voices. This normally wouldn't have bothered me, but I got a creepy feeling that I was being watched during my visit. My gut feeling is that a mountain lion or some other animal was watching me, but I couldn't say for sure. Good thing this hike is very short and easy to get back to my car!
