So simple yet so tasty, these Smokey BBQ Tempeh Ribs are such a treat. At home I've had them three ways; with potato & slaw, in a bun and in a lettuce leaf like on this video - all version were great.
Smokey BBQ Tempeh Ribs
Serves 3
5 minutes preparation 35 minutes cooking
• 1 pack tempeh
• 1 tbsp. brown sugar
• 1 tsp. smoked paprika
• 1 tsp. garlic powder
• ¼ tsp cayenne pepper powder
• ¼ tsp. salt
Smokey BBQ Sauce
• 1 cup tomato sauce (ketchup)
• ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
• 1 Tbsp. molasses
• 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
• ½ tsp. smoked paprika
• ½ tsp. garlic powder
• 1 tsp. onion powder
• ½ tsp. pepper
• ½ tsp. mustard powder
• Pinch of salt if required – depending on ketchup used
