Then, he proceeds to enlist the advantages one may obtain by learning Psychometrics regarding career development, the competitive edge in the job market, ESG, and financial and geographical freedom. Still, more importantly, Dr. Collares mentions the immaterial rewards in terms of the positive impact psychometricians can make in the world by, for example, minimizing bias and promoting the inclusion of learners from unprivileged and oppressed groups as well as the use of technology to make assessment less traumatic, less punitive and more motivating and engaging, creating a much more pleasant experience for students and learners alike.
