Accessibility, or access to opportunities, describes how easily travelers can reach destinations. In the first of a multi-part series, SSTI will be talking with several organizations about how they implement accessibility analysis in planning to improve access to opportunities in the long term. Representatives from Wasatch Front Regional Council, Sacramento Area Council of Governments, and Los Angeles DOT will discuss the benefits and challenges of incorporating accessibility into regional plans, GIS tools, and grant applications.
