New to the 2018 National Charter Schools Conference this year was the addition of Book Talks. The event was held Monday, June 18 at the Charter Talk Stage in the Exhibit Hall from 11:00am – 12:30pm. Similar to Charter Talks, authors gave brief 15-minute overviews of their books from the Charter Talk Stage, sharing key points, highlights, and more about themselves and their story. Attendees has the chance to meet the author, learn something new, and take home a new autographed book—or several! Hear from author Jacqueline Elliot of PUC National as she discussed her book Passionate Warrior: My Charter School Journey.
