What Is Android Nougat’s Freeform Window Mode, Android Nougat come with support for multi window support. However there is a third multi-window mode present in Android Nougat which is freeform window mode. Freeform Multi Window Mode allows Android user to present apps as floating windows that can be moved and resized at will by the user, in which the user can freely resize each activity.

Method of Enabling freeform window mode on Android Nougat, a computer with adb driver is required.

"adb devices"
"adb shell settings put global enable_freeform_support 1"

In Device Manager locate adb or android device with yellow triangle. Then right-click on it and select "Update Driver Software". Select "Browse my computer for driver software". Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer". Select "Show All Devices". Press the "Have Disk" button. Enter the path to the USB_driver select android_winusb.inf. Select "Android ADB Interface" from the list of device types. Confirm the installation of the driver by pressing "Yes". Confirm the installation again by pressing "Install". When the installation is done, press "Close".
