Belgian producer Polar Youth presents her new single Faded, the third song off her upcoming debut EP.

The intoxicating track is inspired by that special person who hypnotizes you and has the magical ability to drown all of your problems. Heavily influenced by hip-hop and trap, Faded is driven by a striking head-bopping beat and features the South Korean-American artist Sangstaa. The latter prides himself in his « seoulful » identity, alternating with singing and a melodic rap flow enhanced by Polar Youth’s spacey soundscape. « I sent him a few demos and one of those was Faded, she remembers. It took him a week to send his lyrics but almost 2 years for the track to become the idea I had in mind. I think I have 10 different versions of it! I’m so happy with the result; it fits perfectly with his voice and with my EP. »

Faded will indeed be part of Polar Youth’s debut EP planned for June 14. Championed by Spotify, Apple Music, Red Bull Elektropedia, Acid Stag and the likes, the 24-year-old has been praised for her contemplative chords and pulsing beats on her previous singles, two ingredients that will definitely be part of this project very close to her heart. « I’m not a woman of many words but all you have to know about me, can be heard through my EP », Polar Youth promises.
