I've grown to enjoy the Gran Fiesta Tour, which has fun moments and a vibrant atmosphere. Even so, I still prefer the original attraction inside EPCOT's Mexico pavilion. El Rio Del Tiempo has a lot of the same high points but offers a more subtle look at the country's culture.
These clips are part of our family's home movies from a visit to EPCOT Center in June 1986. I was 10 years old at the time, and the park made a big impression. This video starts with the films at the beginning of the boat ride and then shifts gears to the party near the end. There's a definite "it's a small world" vibe to these show scenes with great background music.
