German Chancellor Angela Merkel was in talks with French counterpart Emmanuel Macron on Thursday at the presidential summer residence Fort Bregancon.
FRANCE 24’s international affairs editor James Andre says the talks are an opportunity for Macron to show he is at work over the summer, with global issues including Covid-19 and Turkey on the agenda.
