Railroad crossing compilation video of railroad crossings that have no right/left turn blank out LED sign signals. This signals aren't just used for railroad crossings but also crosswalks that have a blind spot at a turn. Some are also set to work for railrpad crossings and for crosswalks both. A majority of the ones in this video only work for railrpad crossings.
If a crossing at an intersection preemption is set to have a green clear traffic signal, these signs would activate before the crossing. If the traffic signals at intersections are set to just turn green when the crossing activates, this will activate at the sametime as the grade crossing. Although freight crossings do use these, these are mostly used along light rail transit systems and commuter rail systems that go through railroad crossing parrallel to a roadway at an intersection.
